About Me

I grew up in Calgary, Alberta Canada. My first job was as a dishwasher at a restaurant called Montanas.. it was kinda like the Canadian version of a Buffalo Wild Wings. I started playing football in high school and was lucky enough to get one scholarship offer to go play football at the local university, while playing football I studied Mechanical Engineering. My forth year of college I was drafted to the CFL (Canadian version of the NFL) where I played two years professionally and ended up winning the Grey Cup with the Calgary Stampeders in 2018. Unfortunately in Canada you don't make much money playing professional football but I saved up just enough to spend some time traveling. I spent time in India, Israel, Jordan, Cairo, Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and many other places. When I arrived back to Canada, I had just enough money left to buy a $300 3D printer and pay a couple months of rent. The only classes I enjoyed in university were CAD design and machining so I went for it... I started doing one off design work and selling 3D prints on facebook marketplace. Eventually, my $600 a month apartment was full of 3D printers (literally full, 20+ machines running all day and night). Fast forward 4 years (...a grueling 4 years of endless work for almost no profit and hardly being able to pay rent..) and I was able to make my dream come true and move to New York City where I now run a design studio just off Broadway. I love all things product design and business related.
